Dr. Walid Hawana: has a PhD in Education from University of Iowa, Master Degree in Philosophy of Education, and Master Degree in English Linguistics. Dr. Hawana worked as a College Professor of Education in USA, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait in Curriculum Development and Evaluation.
He authored 5 college textbooks, and wrote of three research articles in education. He has translated 4 books into Arabic in administration and in psychology. He provided education consultation and workshops to several schools. He is a member of the Accreditation Visiting Team for AdvanceEd organization for schools in several states. He has worked as a School Principal in Austin, Texas, and Schenectady, New York. He gives lectures at ISNA and CISNA conferences and workshops. Currently he is a co-founder of the new learning center Bright Hope Center, aiming at helping gifted and special-ed students.
